As far as being prepared for the end of the world, they could not be farther from ideal. As a Fortune 500 CFO and a Mid-Texas Veteranarian, they haven't even had time to so much as watch a zombie movie, let alone make a survival plan. They suffer through the panic of this in a realistic portrayal of events from both of their drastically different points of view, each fighting to stay alive on opposite ends of the social spectrum. As they move to find each other they battle through the loss of all of their friends, families, jobs, and homes. In their escape, they fight to stay alive while evading not only the dead, but the frantic attempts of the government to contain the virus and establish order. Between hungry walking corpses and fearful armed men of authority, they are beset on all sides by death and destruction. They struggle as escape plan after escape plan fails and the dead close in. You say you are prepared for the end, but are you really?
